After "Created", this is the very first stage of each workflow.
This is currently required in all workflows, but we are going to make it optional in the near future.
The key stage - printing - similarly to design, it is now mandatory.
We plan to make it optional soon, to make Dragonfly App even more flexible.
Third of the key stages.
Similarly to previous two, we plan soon to let you to decide if you need it.
One of the optional steps.
Keep in mind that this is our proposal to support most of the real life workflows, so keep it or add different as you need.
Another optional step that makes sense in many cases.
With all previous steps makes a set of core states for order execution tracking.
Add more workflow steps, if your order needs it.
Choose what is the measure of progress for the step (time, units, monetary value).
Move steps in order that suits you the best.
Apart from 3 first core steps there is no limitation to amount of steps and their ordering.

The grand grand parent of Dragonfly was developed for fast growing digital printing house as a simple document flow system.
Dragonfly predecessor was successfully deployed to more printing industry shops. With a feedback gathered from initial and new customers it started growing in agility and versatility.
Over time, through numerous iterations new features were added to meet daily production needs, and the software evolved into a complete workflow tool. Today, that foundation continues to guide how we design and improve Dragonfly.
The first iteration of Dragonfly focused on rebuilding the core — a clear, modern workflow that small and medium print shops can rely on every day. We started by updating underlying technologies, refreshing the interface, streamlining order management, and making role-based views simple and intuitive. This foundation sets the stage for everything to come.
The new version of Dragonfly marks a major milestone in our roadmap. With a rebuilt backend, refreshed interface, and simplified workflows, this release lays the foundation for everything that comes next — faster, clearer, and more flexible than ever.
This chapter is yet to be written. We aim to make it epic - the full grown species is now ready to fly, hunt and conquer it's environments.
